Most people have so many questionsThe questions a lot of our students have when they first come to a hot yoga class and have no clue as to where where to begin, we, at Dynamic Hot Yoga, are here to help! We want your practice to be a beautiful experience EVERY time. Our staff welcomes and encourages your questions and feedback! Let us know how we are doing and how we can help. As a new student, there are a few things you should remember:
If possible, try to arrive early-newcomers must arrive 15 minutes prior to class.
Be prepared to SWEAT! Our classes are HOT (in a great, detoxing, and therapeutic way)!
In respect to the Islamic customs and Qatari traditions, we ask that members dress modestly, i.e., no bikinis or speedos; t-shirts and lose fitting shorts are the required dress code.
Upon entering the yoga studio, please refrain from talking. This gives everyone a chance to let go, unwind and embrace stillness.
First and last rows are not recommended for new students. If you are unfamiliar with the hot yoga postures, place your mat in the middle of the room so you may look around if needed.
Please refrain from chewing gum in class – you cannot breathe in and out of your nose effectively while chewing gum.
The only items that should be brought into the yoga room are mats, towels and water. Personal items such as cell phones, mat bags and purses/wallets should be left in your vehicle or in the reception area.
At Dynamic Hot Yoga, some teachers do hands-on adjustments to help assist with postures. Please let the teacher know before class if you have any injuries or limitations, or do not wish to receive adjustments.
It is best to practice yoga on an empty stomach, so try to refrain from eating 2-3 hours before.
